Daniel Berman

Daniel Berman was born in Queens, New York and moved to Florida to attend college at The University of Florida in 1991. He graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law with a Juris Doctorate degree in 1998. While at the University of Florida, he was involved in a number of committees and organizations including having the honor of serving in the prestigious position of Associate Justice of the Student Honor Court. He also received the "Pro Bono" award for providing free legal help as a Volunteer income tax assistant and at the Family Law Self Help Clinic.

After graduating from Law School, Mr. Berman accepted employment as an Assistant Public Defender in the 9th Judicial Circuit in Orlando, Florida. Two years later, he accepted a similar position at the 17th circuit in Fort Lauderdale.

While serving the people of Florida as an Assistant Public Defender for nearly 7 years, he handled thousands of cases ranging from misdemeanors to DUI's to serious felonies. During those years he was lead counsel in over 25 jury trials.

In 2005, he left Government service and the Public Defenders Office to open The Law Offices of Daniel M. Berman P.A. where he expanded on his criminal law experience into the areas of Personal Injury and Accidents, Family Law and Landlord-Tenant Law.

Regina Tsombanakis

Regina Tsombanakis was born in Montreal, Canada, to parents from Greek origin. She moved to Hollywood, Florida in 1983. She attended the University of Miami where she received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration and St. Thomas School of law, where she received her juris doctorate in 1996.

While still in law school, she clerked with several civil firms, doing cases that specialized in plaintiff’s work and insurance defense. Upon graduation, she went to work for the Office of the Public Defender in Orlando, Florida. During her four years at that office, she handled thousands of cases from misdemeanors to first degree felonies. In 2001, she moved back to Broward County and worked with the Broward County Office of the Public Defender. In 2003, she opened up her own law firm, Regina Tsombanakis, PA.

To date, she has handled over 100 jury trials.

She is a member of the Broward Bar Association, the Broward Association of Criminal Lawyers, and the Hellenic Bar Association.
